The Service
Radios France and all RM Radio apps are the digital equivalent of a radio receiver. The Service consists of an index of radio stations designed to simplify finding radio programming from broadcast or radio sources, whether available through any software applications made available for mobile devices or computer systems.
RM App is not a broadcaster and its directory service just redirects users to specific content providers in accordance with their publicly available services. RM App is an intermediary which connects (via embedded hyperlinks) users to radios broadcasting over the Internet. RM App does not own any of the brands it lists or claim any rights in the content that listeners may access.
RM App does not host, store, copy, or retransmit any audio content. The App functions as a specialized technical player (User-Agent) that facilitates a direct connection between the user's device and the broadcaster's public URL.
The RM Radio API operates as a radio station directory and hyperlink service. All stream URLs point directly to the broadcasters' own servers or their authorized CDN infrastructure.
API License Grant — Commercial and Non-Commercial Use
The RM Radio API is completely free and open. This API may be used in free and non-free software. This license explicitly covers commercial applications, mobile applications distributed through app stores including the Apple App Store and Google Play, web services, and any other platform or device.
RM App hereby grants Developers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to:
- Access and query the RM Radio API endpoints
- Retrieve, display, and redistribute Station Data within applications
- Use Station Data in commercial applications and paid services
- Integrate the RM Radio API into mobile applications distributed via any app store
- Use Station Data in applications that charge users a fee or display advertising
The phrase "free and non-free software" explicitly covers all commercial applications, regardless of revenue model, pricing, or distribution method.
Content Ownership and Attribution
All audio streams, logos, and related media accessible through the app are the intellectual property of their respective radio station owners, broadcasters, or licensors. All radio streams referenced in this Service are publicly available sources provided by the respective broadcasters on their own servers or authorized CDN infrastructure.
We do not claim ownership of any radio content and do not host, store, copy, or retransmit any streams. The app provides a user-friendly directory and player to access streams already made publicly available by the broadcasters themselves.
Broadcasters are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to distribute their content. RM App does not verify ownership of stream rights. Stations may be removed upon request by their respective owners or in case of valid copyright concerns.
RM App does not modify, alter, or edit the audio content provided by broadcasters. We do not insert additional audio advertisements into the streams or overlay any audio content.
Content Removal Requests & Broadcaster Rights
We respect the intellectual property rights of all broadcasters and content providers. Any broadcaster whose station is listed in the directory may at any time request removal, update their information, or claim their station.
If you are a radio station or content owner and would like your station to be removed or modified, please contact us at: contact.rmapp@gmail.com or use our Broadcaster Portal.
Please include in your request: the station name, a link or reference to the content, proof of ownership, and the action you would like us to take.
We will process all valid removal requests within 24 hours.
Using the Service
The app and API are provided for your personal and commercial use, subject to these terms. You agree that you will not use the Service in any unlawful manner and that you will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to it.
Developers using the RM Radio API agree to:
- Not use the API to host, cache, or rebroadcast audio content
- Honor and implement broadcaster takedown requests within 30 days of notification
- Not represent their application as an official application of any specific broadcaster
Third Party Content
"Third Party Content" contemplates any broadcast radio programs or other audio content that RM App gives you the ability to listen to, and any links or access to websites and resources on the Internet.
Third Party Content may be copyrighted and protected. You acknowledge that Third Party Content may be the copyrighted material of the third party that supplies it. The Service gives you the ability to listen to and access Third Party Content over which RM App exercises no editorial or programming control. The Service acts as a passive pass-through infrastructure.
Due to copyright protection mechanisms, it is strictly forbidden to extract, remove, record, download, or otherwise change content or by any means make any attempts thereto.
- The Service does not guarantee access to any particular Third Party Content
- Third Party Content is not under RM App's control and the Service is not responsible for it
- Third Party Content providers may change or delete content or schedules at any time
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." RM App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the radio stations or broadcasters listed within the App. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or reliability of the content streamed through third-party radio stations.
RM App shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Notice for Apple Users
Since the RM Radio apps are available on the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that this Agreement is between you and Sébastien Rousseau only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the Application or the content thereof.
- Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance and support services for the Application
- Apple is not responsible for addressing any product liability claims
- Apple is not responsible for any claim that the Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement
- Apple is not responsible for any third-party intellectual property infringement claims
